It started snowing lightly Saturday afternoon. I was set up for Saturday Football as were the hounds. They had spent most of Saturday morning outside running all over the yard. It was the first time Ava had seen snow. Cletus is still doing great but he has shown me that he lived on the streets for a few weeks as a stray and probably had to raid garbage cans to find food to eat. He is on Wholesome Sportmix like the others and is gaining weight. His ribs are slowly disappearing as well as that scar on his neck.

Everything is good here in "the tropics" of Southern Indiana.
Ava sitting in the snow is funny and the crew look like they are resting up for winter.
ReplyDeleteStay warm in the tropics !
Ava has sat in the snow in other spots in the yard chewing that Nyla bone she likes. The very first time she stepped outside in the snow on the patio, she turned and sprinted back inside, now I can't get her to come inside when it snows. LOL
DeleteAva sitting in the snow reminds me of our Black Lab, Mystic. She would stay out in the snow all day if we let her (we didn't), she just loved it. Love how Ava and Walter share the kennel and get along so well. Hope you don't get much more of the white stuff. So far, we have only had about an inch a couple of weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteThis week Ava and Cletus have been sharing his dog bed. Not much more is predicted. We might have gotten 2" if that. Yet the local news makes it sound like we are in a massive blizzard. I can't complain, November was a pretty warm month.
