Watson Is In Good Shape

It was a day or two after my last post here that Watson miraculously returned to normal. His tail was upright as he trotted from the bedroom to the patio door to go outside with the rest of the hounds and Ava to start the day while I poured their kibble.

I don't have an answer why or how it happened but it did thankfully. He has been that was every since, although he and Ava are not running full speed in the backyard. No sounds of pain getting up or down. Has a huge appetite.

On another note, I have found in the past just like now, when I don't post on a regular basis, worldwide bots attack this blog site. I have a program that now tells me if the bots are good or bad.

Currently 18% of the traffic on this blog is "bad bots" ...  why?

The sun is bright and so far this summer cooler than normal temps in "the tropics" of Southern Indiana.

Watson Back To Almost Normal

Watson nibbled some boiled skinless chicken thighs on Sunday afternoon and by Monday morning was trotting to the mudroom for his breakfast. I gave him half his normal amount of soaked in warm water kibble and he wented more, so I gave him his other half. Monday ate again at lunch.

This morning went outside with the other dogs as always, normal routine and witnessed his first bowel movement in I don't know how long. Too many days. He ate breakfast and went back outside like he was trained to do after every meal since he was 8 weeks old ... another bowel movement.

Not sprinting or running in the backyard but trotting sometimes as he explored the area today. Still sleeping a lot under the open windows.

Two mobile vets called days ago, left messages about his situation ... no returned calls.

Things are a lot less stressful around here now with Watson back on his feet without any pain.

Transitioning him to a "sensitive stomach" dog food.

All is good again in "the tropics" of Southern Indiana.

It's Watson's Stomach/Intestinal Tract

I deleted the post before this where I posted it late last night. This will just about Watson with a night and morning full of updates. As you see Walter has decided he is the main caretaker for Watson.

We Continue Being Busy

Time continues to fly at a rapid rate. I have been busier since my last post almost a month ago. A few of my friends have commented that it seems like I have a full-time job now. I guess I do but like 20 some years ago I enjoy the work putting listings together to sell on eBay. Results have been very positive, enough that I almost can't quit. Yet, I still have a lot of stuff here at home I am wanting to get rid of.

I've Been Busy!!

While having all different kinds of weather the past few weeks, I realized it was not the weather that made me lethargic, unmotivated and have mind that scans non stop for answers or ideas. I found out through self realization, meaning me, no counselor involved ... that I was bored ... and had been for a long time.

Is Spring Here ?????

I know it is not March yet but today sure did seem like a March or April day. 65° had me, the hounds and dogs outside on the patio for a while. Of course whenever I could come inside for water, they would get up and follow me in. Now that I am typing this, they are all taking their afternoon siesta.

The Port Of Evansville

These plates describe just this area of the Port of Evansville. It was much larger than just the Pigeon Creek area where they have built a monument and the start of the Gateway bike path in the city. It will be interesting to see in the future if the walking/bike path is maintained. The previous mayor was a bicycle enthusiast. The current mayor pulled funds back for the extension of the bike path, so it will remain to be seen.
