The temperatures have stay above 90's most days this month. The next four days will be hotter than the last 10 days. So the hounds, dogs and I will not be doing much outside that is blog worthy. I did get the backyard, inside the fence mowed yesterday. Mower was set at its highest blade setting. I finished the hotter than hot afternoon with some ice cold hibiscus tea.
The REI bone is Walter's "security blanket" ... for years, any time that he knows I am getting ready to leave the house, he will find that bone inside or outside and start chewing it at an insane pace. In this case he knew I had another doctor's appointment ... too many lately.
All of us are doing okay here in "the tropics" of Southern Indiana.
Good to see a post from you and get to see the crew.
ReplyDeleteAre you going for annual check ups or for something else ? Hope you get a good report .
Suppose to be hot and muggy along with rain today. Looks like an indoor day in Michigan with the A/C on.
Have a good weekend.
Sue
Every thing is fine now but the annual echocardiogram led to other things. Hot and muggy is the condition here and no signs of it letting up.
DeleteGreat to hear from you and the crew. Loved all the photos of the the hounds and dogs. Some of them made me laugh - love Walter with his tongue sticking out. For our area, we are having warm weather, but fortunately without the humidity. Take care and thanks for posting.
ReplyDeleteGlad you stopped by. I had the urge to post this morning so I did instead of waiting for a few weeks more.
DeleteThose pups sure do have a lot of favorite relaxing / sleeping spots! Inside, for sure!

They do and these photos do not show all of them. I was shocked that Cletus curled up inside the medium size crate.
DeleteOddly enough, our temps down here in Texas have been about the same as yours. So far we've only had two 100 degree days and those were back in May. The family reunion is the middle of next month up in Michigan. I'm keeping an eye on the long-range forecasts up there!
ReplyDeleteI think the long range forecasts are going to be about the same as now. Stop by if you can, or give me a place to meet for a short visit.
DeleteGood to see your blog and great photos. Vern
ReplyDeleteThanks Vern. Glad you enjoyed the photos.
