I apologize for giving that donation advice in my last post with a link from someone that use to work for Red Cross in those emergency situations. Just this afternoon I see this news and I am so mad at myself for what I did.
THE FEDS ARE FEDS ARE CONFISCATING DONATIONS IN TENNESSEE.
They are the Red Cross, United Way, FEMA and TEMA ....
Besides this news, the past two days my internet time went from looking at dogs in shelters to videos on Facebook Reels made by people that are actually on the ground where the devastation is. Many live there, so they are not fake news, they haven't been altered, they are not AI fed ... they are real videos with real updates.
Besides civilian volunteers with supplies, helicopters, airplanes, trucks, boats, mule teams, kayaks rescuing animals ... I have seen nothing government related besides the interview with the man in charge for the NC National Guard that was sitting up operations at the Ashville NC airport.
EVERYTHING is all civilians, people helping people.
It's probably best the government stay out of the way anyway ... things get done when that happens.
