This was happening around 8:25am local this morning. I saw on another weather site that before the rain that started last night, we had 51.3" for the year. That 1.6" in upper right corner was a lot more than tv weather told me I would get. I wondered last night if I might prefer it to be colder with snow for easier clean up of hounds and dogs paws. I will talk about my new system of saving my sanity and keeping my floors clean. Otherwise, this weather gave me the urge early this morning to put this post together and ramble a little bit.
Life in 'the tropics' of Southern Indiana, the high desert of the southwest and back to 'the tropics' with the hounds and dogs.

A Tetanus Shot & Antibiotics
A lot has happened I guess from my last post. Some of it information by those that have experienced "rage syndrome" and information from urgent care about my deep wound and other small dog bites. It's all good information though, so no worries there. So where do I start ??

Knucklebone Day & Flooding
With high winds and rain in the forecast I thought it might be time to reach into the bottom cabinet drawer, the dog drawer, and pull out three brand new knucklebones. When they cannot go outside they need something to occupy them. I bought three last month to store not knowing then I would need four, but it has all worked out. Oh ... those high winds and rain have not arrived as of this morning. Typical for this area. A lot of times storms blow around our location and that is always a good thing.

Just An Update
This a different kind of post and really nothing more than letting you know I have a pulse. The hounds and dog continue their normal routine although most of the days this past week they were dodging standing water when they went outside. The large rug inside the patio door is doing its job, thus the hound and dog paw prints are at a minimum on the floor when they run back inside.
