Cletus Is Part Of The Crew

This is the first of two posts I am doing this morning. Cletus has blended into the daily routine of the others and is part of the crew faster than I could have hoped for. It feels and looks like he has been here for years. The day started at 4am local central time when I wake up hearing his ears flopping and his tail hitting my chest as he does his wakeup shaking. He came from eastern time zone so to him it was his normal 5am wake up time. That woke up everyone except Walter ... who continued snoring loudly during our trip outside in the dark.

I forgot that I had slid some photos into a folder to upload to the blog in case I had a feeling to blog again. These were taken the last few weeks but I forget the exact days. The hounds are battling the heat. Nothing new to them. They can find the AC just as easy as a heater. I am back to blogging on my old blog at 

A Frosty Winter Wonderland

It's only appropriate that the first day of December have some sort of snow or heavy frost. Freezing temps always seem to energize Sadie and Stella. Heidi?? No way ... sound asleep deep inside her Marmot sleeping bag.

The Bloodhounds Ears Get Exercised

 

With two walks today not only were Sadie and Stella's noses getting a work out but their ears were flexing in positions I had never seen before. Take a look and see of you can see some of the weird positions the camera caught their ears in.
