Early Morning Cardio

They would have started an hour earlier with their DAILY early morning cardio if I had let them. So a little before 8:30am I let them outside after I heard Cletus's big deep loud bloodhound bark, wanting to go outside. All three of them sprinted from the door to the yard and the game was on. I am going to buy some of this "Dog Turf" for my bare spots. Grass seed can be planted below it and grow through it. Should be interesting.

Cletus Continues To Do Great

Lots of photos tonight ...

It's been 72 hours and he acts like he has lived here since he was 8 weeks old. Of course he loves his walks. I am still making adjustments to the harness to get it to fit perfect. He doesn't mind when a car or truck passes by us as I lead him off the street and sit on the edge of a yard until they pass by. I still have to figure out something on these walks though. Dogs and hounds left behind bark when they see us leave and walk away just like all the neighbors dogs do when they see me walk by their house.

Cletus Is Part Of The Crew

This is the first of two posts I am doing this morning. Cletus has blended into the daily routine of the others and is part of the crew faster than I could have hoped for. It feels and looks like he has been here for years. The day started at 4am local central time when I wake up hearing his ears flopping and his tail hitting my chest as he does his wakeup shaking. He came from eastern time zone so to him it was his normal 5am wake up time. That woke up everyone except Walter ... who continued snoring loudly during our trip outside in the dark.

Lazy Days

Days after the tree was cut up and the backyard was cleaned up with most of the tree limbs put back on the berm, it couldn't stop raining. It would be hot and sunny, small if any chance of rain then unexpectedly it would be a downpour. Luckily on Thursday I was able to get the lawn mowed. For some reason I have now fallen back into being non-motivated. Nothing I try seems to interest me for long.
