You will see the hounds and the dog haven't been doing too much. Or is it the photographer that hasn't taken many photos of them? They run and play all over the backyard every day, even when the temps are in the 20's after the sun comes up. In the afternoons they chase Watson from one side of the yard to the other in the afternoons. The tornadoes were about 100 miles south of me. You will see the neighbor in a photo below cleaning up the mess in his front yard when his tall pine tree fell slowly across the street. I was able to see it mid-afternoon through my computer room window. That is about all I have. Merry Christmas.
Not sure how much longer I will be blogging here. The urge just isn't there anymore after ten years of off and on blogging. We are all good though, here in 'the tropics' of Southern Indiana.
Cool! No snow. But how is that one yard so green?
ReplyDeleteShe does not have bermuda grass and has it organically fertilized.
DeleteDo you have a favorite among the three? 10 years...where does that time go. Seems like last week you were debating on how big a motor home you wanted/needed for your Bunch.
ReplyDeleteNot really. I guess with each of them being a different breed, it is hard to pick a favorite. I went through a lot of information on those decisions didn't I?? LOL
DeleteYes time is flying. Hard to believe I have been retired over 7 years now.
I've been retired 13 years now and haven't done a darn thing on my wish list!!! I had planned on motoring in a motor home or fifth wheel but several dogs and cats have moved in and don't want to go along!! Thinking about moving from this slaughter house company town in Okla. where I grew up, back to Ohio or back to S TX where I worked for many years. Still have friends in both places I haven't seen in years. Just don't want to stay here for sure!! Just don't know if I have another move in me!!
ReplyDeleteDon in Okla.
Moving is hard, even when you have someone else to do it. I have a dog that doesn't like to leave the house in any form (Walter) so I know the feeling about traveling.
DeleteHope you reconsider on the blog you and the dog will be missed
ReplyDeleteI might just be in a blog slump. Looking back through the years in the month of December, it was a low number of posts most of the time. The problem I find here is there isn't any photos of the hounds and the dog outside of the backyard. At least in Arizona we had a nice view of the mountains and the open sky. We'll see what happens.
DeletePlease don't close your blog - perhaps just check in with fewer posts. So enjoy your commentary and love the photos of the two hounds and the dog. Merry Christmas to you Steve and your gang. P.S. Winter is here in the mountains and we are getting our first snow of the season tonight.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I saw on the weather channel the other day that a lot of snow was headed to the mountains of California north and south. Merry Christmas to you also.
DeleteBest wishes to you all for a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year!!! Don in Okla.
ReplyDeleteThanks Don and the same for you.
