When I heard Cletus welcoming someone in the yard and the other four following with their loud greetings, I looked out the window and saw an AT&T truck. I knew what he was here for. Scott Johnson (Supervisor/Manager) stopped by yesterday to look at what I was talking about. I recognized him from last June when I spoke to him at length while he was in his truck. He told me when he left yesterday afternoon that he would have someone out here ASAP to get that splice junction box hung back up on he cable.
I found out it was the case of broken communication, a break in their automatic system of closing one work order and letting the next person know it was their time for their part of the job. In this case a whole different company. Last July that company that was supposed to do this did not have any notices, emails, or work orders telling them to hang the cable. When I called them they didn't know about the job that was required for them to finish. AT&T does the 'service' on their cable but BOi do nothing but hang AT&T cables. This job would be considered "hanging" for BOi Corp to do.
Anyway ... it is finally done and everything is good until the next severe storm and damage.
It is getting warmer in "the tropics" of Southern Indiana and long time issues have been finally fixed.
Will miracles never cease, more like the perseverance by you!!!
ReplyDeleteAt least I know the process and which company does what when my next storm damage occurs. If I had not been bored on December 10th and called again after 5 months this would not have been completed. LOL
