A Busy Day For All

From 7am on it was a very busy day. Walter was at the vet to be neutered by 7:30am. Then the two hounds kept me pretty busy. I picked up Water at 4pm, took off his Ecollar because he didn't need one. He cannot reach that far with his mouth to bother the stitches. He came out of his meds around 6:30pm and started acting normal. I felt so sorry for him in that collar that I did not take any photos. So ... not a lot of words tonight due to time and even now I am talking on the phone. Enjoy the photos.

As you can see things are pretty laidback here in "the tropics" of southern Indiana.

  1. Thinking of Walter and hope he is doing well tonight. Just can't get enough of the puppy photos. So cute!

    1. Walter is doing great and had a normal night of sleep with some snoring. This morning he had some breakfast with his meds. I hear him half growling (normal sound) now.

  2. Glad Walter is doing o.k.after his visit to the vet. Can hardly believe how fast Watson is growing!! He's a beautiful bloodhound. You can be proud to have him. Henry has really filled out, hasn't he? What a big boy he will be once he's full grown. Keep feeding them, it's working, Steve. LOL

    1. Well if Walter weights 56, then Henry has to be close to 70 lbs. The biggest basset I have had, except for the rescue male I picked up, Max. After he joined us for those daily walks before blogging, he dropped 20 lbs. Or maybe it was because I did NOT serve his kibble with cottage cheese on top, like the previous owner did. Yes, Watson is growing by the hour.
