Football Saturday
As you see in the few photos that I have available to post today, it's another Football Saturday and they will not be doing much more than this. It's cold but sunny. The hounds are fine.

Not Much Going On
The photos may show "not much going on" but when I think back to this past week, a lot of things did happen but not blog photo worthy. Where should I start? The "to do" list continues to have items checked off and a major project was finished this week. Finishing the repair of the lower living room windows and painting the frame. I installed the screens I repaired a few months ago and they look great with the new wood repair and paint job. I only wanted to see how it looked and still don't quite trust the dog (Walter) from tearing out the new screens while I am gone ... so they are stored in the garage. Plus when cleaning windows I see way too many jowl smudges on the windows from the hounds and dog.

IU Cheerleader Gets Biggest Cheer
As my team was being "taken to the woodshed" as some say, in last nights March Madness game in Portland .. the hounds, me, my texting friends and IU fans scattered all over the USA didn't have a lot to cheer about. That was until a shot by Trayce Jackson-Davis bounced off the rim, up and over the bankboard, landing on top of the goal structure full of braces, the shot clock and tv cameras.

Henry Grew Up Today
Henry grew up today and it started at 4:56am as he ran down the hallway leading the pack outside for their first trip to start the day. He was squatting to pee about 3 feet in the yard while the others moved out to their spots further away. He attacked everybody, including me, at the back of our ankles if he could catch us. I caught him numerous times standing at the dog food container and once chewing at the bag I had left sitting out. He roamed the house on his own and went outside while others slept. He ruled the house today.
For the afternoons entertainment I bought a couple of different sizes of chew toys ... bullie sticks and beef trachea ... of course Henry wanted the larger one and took it away from Walter. Then Stella didn't want her large piece and wanted the smaller size which I had bought for Henry. By the end of the day they had all moved to the size intended for them. Even Heidi, with few teeth, had no problems with the smaller piece.
Blogger is acting up again so this post is the way it is ... for example I cannot get to the bottom of this post to write anything. So it is what it is .. all the photos are out of order, their choice. Somewhere in all the photos you will see a lot of last nights sleeping activity near the couch ... all that movement is the normal night here at the 'dog pound'.
