A Beautiful "Tropics" Day

With a late start to the day, they still got their walks in, a late lunch turned into a short siesta with the windows open. Not much was done different than any other day. A couple of hound walks, time on the patio under the sun, some lunch and some Reds baseball.

From Monday

From this point to below, all taken today.

That is about it for today in "the tropics" of Southern Indiana.

  1. I like seeing Walter out there mixing it up with the rest of the gang. You are taking lots of good photos & tomorrow should be even more "tropical" than today. It's funny that they have the whole house - and, yet they often sleep very close & sometimes almost in a pile.!

    1. Thanks. I too like seeing Walter a little more active. He plays with the other two inside early in the mornings but I never get photos of it because he stops when he sees the camera. Plus they have the whole house but follow me around a lot. LOL

  2. They are certainly enjoying your nice weather. Good for them. We are getting another foot plus of snow overnight and more tomorrow. I am so done with the snow - we are well over 7 feet in my area as of this morning. County has declared us a disaster area and now the Governor is being asked to do the same.

    1. It's been an unbelievable winter for you. You would think that 7' of snow will definitely help your water situation.

    2. We ended the week of snow with 99 inches and everyone is snowed it, roads are not plowed and it's a mess. My road has over 6 feet of snow, my decks are filled with snow and there are mounds of snow everywhere. The Governor signed the State of Emergency for the County and supposedly the National Guard, etc. are on their way. We have never had an event like this in my 39 winters up here. Right about now, the 100 degree days of summer don't look too bad.

    3. I hope you have enough food stored away. I read an article about your town in the LA Times this morning, sent to me by a friend via Apple News. Hope you are doing okay and can get help if needed.
